DojoNetworks and regional fiber provider Gigapower said Wednesday they have struck a partnership to bring fiber-backed, bulk managed Wi-Fi to multifamily housing across Gigapower’s service areas.

The companies, in an announcement provided to Broadband Communities, said the arrangement will pair Gigapower’s fiber infrastructure with DojoNetworks’ managed Wi-Fi deployments to deliver building-wide connectivity for residents and common areas.

DojoNetworks’ founder Dan Myers described the service as no longer a luxury. “Bulk Managed Wi-Fi has evolved from a luxury to a baseline utility in the multifamily sector. It is essential for driving resident satisfaction and supporting the modern smart-home ecosystem,” he said, adding that Gigapower’s network will let DojoNetworks “deploy these systems faster and more consistently.”

Gigapower’s chief revenue officer, Jeff Seidenfaden, also said the deal was an answer to property owners’ demand for a turnkey, fiber-fed solution.

“Our relationship with DojoNetworks allows us to translate our infrastructure into a comprehensive, property-wide experience specifically engineered for the unique demands of dense multifamily environments,” he said.

The companies listed a wide set of target markets spanning parts of Alabama, Arizona, Florida (including Orlando and the Panhandle), Nevada, New Mexico, the Carolinas, and Pennsylvania, and said DojoNetworks is evaluating specific multifamily projects within those Gigapower-served areas.

DojoNetworks and Gigapower also said the model includes planning, deployment and ongoing support; DojoNetworks emphasized its uptime and management software as differentiators in addressing connectivity gaps in multifamily buildings.

Additionally, they pitched the offering as delivering consistent coverage, simplified operations for owners, and a scalable framework for portfolios, benefits that, if realized, could appeal to operators balancing resident expectations with increasing reliance on smart-building systems.
