Verizon is now offering unlimited domestic calling, texting, and data for customers in the path of Hurricane Isaias.

The offer will extend from October 9 through October 15, Verizon says, with relief efforts covering counties in the hurricane’s track across Alabama, Florida, and Mississippi.

Verizon also says they’re ready to respond with mobile and satellite assets, portable generators, and hands-on support before, during, and after the storm.

Hurricane Isaias promises to disrupt an otherwise quiet hurricane season in the Atlantic, threatening landfall along the Florida Panhandle.

“One hundred percent of our macro cell sites have backup battery power, and nearly all of our cell sites in the region have backup generator power, with more than 1,000 mobile generators on standby,” Verizon said on their website. “A fleet of nearly 3,000 network and satellite assets are available to deploy to the hardest-hit areas to serve as mobile cell sites, temporary emergency command centers, and self-contained basecamp operations.”

Additionally, Verizon says their crisis response team is ready to support first responders, with continuing updates to be provided on Verizon’s online Emergency Resource Center.
