July 9, 2026 — Fiber Construction Company (FCC) today announced its launch as a nationwide outside-plant (OSP) construction contractor serving the carriers, ISPs, and MSOs building America’s broadband network. As operators race to deploy fiber under record public and private investment, FCC enters the market to address one of the buildout’s tightest constraints: qualified construction capacity that scales without sacrificing schedule or quality.
FCC self-performs the full OSP lifecycle. Its scope spans OSP engineering and permitting; aerial construction including strand, lashing, overlash, and make-ready; underground construction by directional drilling (HDD), plow, trench, and microtrench; fusion splicing and bidirectional OTDR certification; FTTx and last-mile drop construction; and 24/7 emergency restoration. Owned crews carry the core work, backed by a vetted partner network that lets FCC scale into a program’s volume across all 50 states and U.S. territories.

Every FCC crew, owned or partner, works to NESC construction standards, holds OSHA 30, runs traffic control under MUTCD, and clears E-Verify. Programs receive GIS-ready as-builts, bore logs, and OTDR acceptance records in the format their teams operate against, so job packs pass QA on first submission.
