ANAHEIM, CA — ZyXEL, a provider of IT technologies, announced two new products in its 11AC series: The WAC6103D-I 11AC Dual Band Access Point (AP) and the NWA5123-AC Unified Access Point. The WAC6103D-I boasts the industry’s slimmest form factor, and is the first AP optimized for mounting on ceilings and walls without compromising wireless performance. The NWA5123-AC is a 2-in-1 standalone / managed AP capable of ultra fast gigabit Wi-Fi speeds and speedy deployment.

Equipped with a dual-optimized antenna, the WAC6103D-I adjusts antenna settings to optimize signal coverage for the deployment scenario. Qualified as a 3-stream 802.11AC Wi-Fi AP, the WAC6103D-I can achieve a combined data rate of up to 1.75 Gbps and is proven to give up to five times better performance than competitor’s products in the same market segment. Its simple and low profile appearance allows the WAC6103D-I to easily blend in any modern office, hotel, classroom or cafe. The WAC6103D-I joins ZyXEL’s line of 11AC series, which includes the WAC6503D-S that was recently named a CRN Test Center winner in the SMB networking category.

The concise design of the access point allows it to blend into any office environment while also improving on thermal ventilation over typical wall-mount APs.
