Press Release
News provided by: Televate

Televate is excited to announce a new solution to help governments and ISPs make informed decisions regarding broadband service, including for the Broadband Equity Access and Deployment (BEAD) program. Televate’s new broadband reports provide a streamlined and objective way to assess broadband service, technology, and competitive factors to guide analysis and BEAD planning.
Using custom software, Televate automatically processes billions of records from the FCC’s Broadband Data Collection (BDC) program using dozens of service analytics methods, including:
- service summary of the internet service providers,
- service at the federal designated data throughput levels (e.g., 100/20 Mbps)
- the type of competition (e.g., competition at 100/20+ Mbps, gigabit competition, and more) at individual locations,
- the prevailing technology in an area, and
- technology deployment tracking.
This data is reported in a series of tables, graphs and maps to illustrate key service indicators and even changes in the broadband landscape over time.
