Spectrum Mobile has become the first cable provider to surpass 10 million mobile lines within six years of launching services.

The mobile brand, part of Spectrum’s suite of communications services offered by Charter Communications, said the news has cemented Spectrum Mobile’s status as the country’s fastest growing mobile provider.

Spectrum Mobile attributed their success to “features and services that offer increased value, flexibility, and protection, setting it apart from other providers.”

Among the features that come with Spectrum Mobile plans, the provider mentioned repair and replacement plans, phone balance buyouts, anytime upgrades, and speed offerings as added values that have made them stand out in the marketplace.

The provider also cited competitive pricing strategies as part of their model for recent success.

“The 10 million mobile lines milestone comes as more consumers seek comprehensive wireless connectivity solutions that deliver reliable performance without breaking the bank,” Spectrum’s announcement this week stated.

Danny Bowman, a EVP of product for Spectrum, offered comments with the mobile provider’s announcement celebrating the 10 million mobile lines milestone.

“Spectrum Mobile has differentiated itself with customers with a value proposition that is simple, affordable and unmatched in the mobile industry,” Bowman said. “Reaching 10 million mobile lines so quickly is a testament to the overall quality of our product and the trust our customers place in us to deliver a superior converged connectivity experience.”

The provider also says they have continued to innovate with their growth in the mobile market, all while maintaining a focus on offering customers “a straightforward, user-friendly experience.”

Correction: Spectrum’s description has been amended to “cable provider,” versus “mobile provider.”
