GENESEO, IL — Geneseo Communications is bringing fiber-based Internet speeds of up to 100 Mbps to five cities in its northwest Illinois coverage zone. Which city will be first to experience these super fast speeds? That’s up to the neighbors themselves.
Geneseo has announced a contest in which neighborhoods take the initiative to rally for themselves. To get started one person from the neighborhood registers to represent their neighborhood at the Fiber My Neighborhood Contest site, and then rallies their neighbors to cast their votes. Neighborhoods will be connected in the order of interest expressed in the rally.
Residents will have a choice of three pricing tiers:
- 25 Mbps for $39.85/month
- 50 Mbps for $49.95/month
- 100 Mbps for $69.96/month
