Awards
Entries are now being accepted for the 2025 Broadband Communities Awards, which this year features a newly expanded field of categories.
The 2025 Broadband Communities Awards are now accepting entries for this year’s enhanced field of categories.
The awards, formerly known as The Cornerstone Awards, will now feature new categories — like the Customer Experience Award, the Digital Divide Award, and Property of the Year.
Other new categories featured this year include the Startup of the Year Award, Technology Partner of the Year, the Tribal Lands Award, the Wireless Initiative Award, and the Workforce Development Award.
Meanwhile, categories returning in 2025 include Broadband Provider of the Year, the Rural Connectivity Award, the Community Improvement Award, and Multifamily Provider of the Year.
Last year’s awards ceremony saw Pavlov Media win Broadband Provider of the Year, an award reserved for entities who demonstrate outstanding customer service, innovative product packages, and imaginative partnerships.
As with previous years, entries for the awards remain free in 2025 (nominations can be submitted here).
Individuals and entities can also nominate in as many categories as they like, as was the case last year.
The awards ceremony, which this year is sponsored by Verizon, has been a key part of the Broadband Communities Summit since 2004.
This year’s awards ceremony comes with an enhanced judging process, in addition to expanded categories, to ensure the awards benefit from greater credibility and transparency.
Entries for the awards will be accepted online until April 18, 2025. Winners will then be announced at the Broadband Communities Summit at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston on June 25.
