According to Astound, the service supports lower latency and increased capacity, along with accelerated streaming and downloading.
The service, supported by eero’s mesh Wi-Fi 7 system, was built to accommodate up to 200 devices at a time, according to Astound’s June 18 announcement.

A summary of Astound’s operations included with the company’s release described the ISP as the sixth largest cable operator in the U.S.
Astound currently has operations in Chicago, Indiana, Eastern Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, New York City, Maryland, Washington, D.C., Texas, and regions throughout California, Oregon, and Washington, the summary of the company stated.
