Awards
With fewer than two months remaining before the deadline, potential entrants are being urged not to delay.
Entries for the 2026 Broadband Communities Awards will close next month on April 26 at 5 p.m. CST, organizers warn, as the industry’s annual search for standout projects in connectivity, multifamily technology and community impact enters its final stretch.
Broadband Communities, which has run the awards since 2004, says this year’s contest reflects updates to categories and judging procedures intended to keep pace with rapid changes in broadband deployment and digital services. The winners will be announced on August 26 during the Broadband Communities Summit in Houston at the George R. Brown Convention Center.
The awards are widely watched in the broadband sector as a benchmark for projects that demonstrate measurable results, whether in extending fiber to underserved neighborhoods, deploying advanced in-building systems for multifamily housing, or creating partnerships that accelerate digital inclusion. Past winners have included network operators, equipment makers, municipalities and community organizations.
