Ziply Fiber, a broadband service provider in the Pacific Northwest, has announced the completion of a fiber ring, which extends from Sabey Data Center in Tukwila, Washington to EdgeConneX’s Seattle campus.

One of the largest private data centers in the United States will soon connect to Zipley Fiber’s fiber-optic broadband services, allowing the company to expand its service offerings into neighboring Tukwila.

The announcement, released by Zipley Fiber on Jan. 23, said the company’s partnership with Sabey Data Centers has enabled them to offer their network to enterprise customers in the greater Puget Sound region.

Chris Gellos, a vice president and the general manager of commercial for Zipley Fiber said Sabey Data Centers has been a great partner.

“We are excited to work with them to provide businesses with access to connect to our ultra-fast network, which is designed for ultimate speed, capacity, security and reliability,” he said. “Our network was designed to exceed the high-performance standards that today’s businesses expect from their data center partners.”

Sabey Data Centers, which reports a portfolio including over 4 million square feet of “mission-critical space,” specializes in custom-built solutions and data-center ready shell space, according to a summary of the firm.

According to Ziply Fiber’s announcement, the company also provides fiber services to data centers in Vancouver, Portland, and Spokane.
