Wilson Connectivity, a market leader with in-building wireless communication technology, has rebranded and released a private 5G solution.

The company formerly known as Wilson Electronics, Wilson Connectivity, has introduced a new private 5G solution to the marketplace.
The solution, Private 5G by Wilson Connectivity, “includes an integration of hybrid and active distributed antenna systems (DAS) with cutting-edge capabilities, security, and control,” according to the makers at Wilson.
Wilson Connectivity announced the launch of their private 5G solution at Mobile World Congress in Las Vegas and called it a revolutionary advancement in cell-signal technology.
The CEO of Wilson Connectivity provided comments to the media with the company’s release celebrating the news.
“Combining the power of our DAS solutions with the capabilities of Private 5G is a true game-changer,” said Bruce Lancaster, CEO of Wilson Connectivity. “Now our customers can support public and private networks on Wilson’s unique DAS solution that can distribute RF sources from 150 MHz to 5 GHz, making the benefits of Private 5G available to more customers who are searching for wireless alternatives to Wi-Fi.”
According to Wilson Connectivity’s Oct. 9 announcement, demand for 5G connectivity is increasing as many organizations rely on personal devices for operations.
“Our mission is to ensure the uninterrupted flow of communication and data in the world’s most challenging connectivity environments,” said James Martin, SVP of engineering for Wilson Connectivity.
Wilson Connectivity’s 5G solution has also been tested for security performance, the firm’s release explained.
“The solution offers a remote monitoring and management system that simplifies control over access permissions and provides real-time insights into performance analytics and issue resolution,” the company’s release stated.
