Vexus Fiber said the network expansion will offer customers uninterrupted remote work and ultra-fast streaming.

A leading provider of fiber-optic fiber has announced what they call a ‘groundbreaking expansion’ to upgrade their entire network with the capabilities to provide 10 gigabits per second speed connectivity to communities in Texas, Louisiana, and New Mexico.

Vexus Fiber called it a transformative upgrade that will revolutionize the digital landscape for residents and businesses.

Jim Gleason, the CEO of Vexus Fiber, said the investment, totaling around $2.5 million, is a testament to his company’s dedication to fostering economic growth. His comments were included in the company’s Oct. 19 announcement about the expansion on their website. Gleason said Vexus Fiber’s network expansion plans also highlighted the company’s commitment to innovation and offering an improved quality of life to the customers they serve.

“We’re proud to bring this exceptional 10 gig network with symmetrical speeds to communities in Texas, Louisiana and New Mexico,” he said. “It ensures we support their economic growth for decades by providing a network suitable for advancement.”

According to the company’s announcement, the investment in Vexus Fiber’s network expansion was funded by Oak Hill Capital and global investment firm Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co., also known as KKR.

When the network expansion is complete, Vexus Fiber said customers will enjoy ultra-fast streaming and gaming, high-definition video, and online gaming without lag or latency issues.

Vexus Fiber said the network expansion will offer symmetrical speeds to ensure uninterrupted remote work and learning, “allowing for productivity and learning efficiency without disruptions,” according to the company’s Oct. 19 announcement.
