VETRO, a company that provides fiber management software for telecommunications providers, has named Brett Lindsey as its new president, the company announced today.

Lindsey will report to VETRO’s founder and CEO, Will Mitchell, and will be responsible for day-to-day operations and efforts to scale the business as VETRO expands internationally.

Mitchell framed the hire as strategic for the company’s next growth phase, saying Lindsey brings “a rare combination of deep operational expertise and a passion for the fiber industry.” The CEO added that Lindsey’s background leading high-growth infrastructure companies will help VETRO “scale our platform and empower broadband providers to build faster and more efficiently.”

Lindsey arrives with three decades of experience in digital infrastructure. His previous roles include CEO of Ark Data Centers and eight years as president and CEO of Everstream, where the company grew from a local Cleveland network into a 10-state fiber provider with more than 27,500 route miles. In the release, Lindsey said he has followed VETRO’s progress “with admiration for years” and that he is “excited to join Will and the entire VETRO team” to help simplify how fiber networks are built and managed.

The announcement underscores VETRO’s push to strengthen leadership as it targets broader market adoption. As Mitchell and Lindsey take on growth and operational challenges, the company says its goal remains helping network operators move beyond legacy systems and accelerate deployment of fiber to connect more communities.
