Verizon and tower operator Array Digital Infrastructure have announced a multi-year partnership that will use Array’s national portfolio to expand Verizon’s 5G coverage and simplify site pricing for future deployments.
Under the agreement, Verizon may collocate on a “significant number” of new Array towers over the coming years, with a streamlined pricing structure intended to cut costs and provide long-term rate stability.
Verizon described the deal as part of its broader tower management strategy to speed the rollout of advanced wireless technologies and give engineers greater flexibility in managing the network.
Phillip French, Verizon’s vice president of engineering, said the arrangement will help the carrier “accelerate” 5G deployment and improve the customer experience by making it easier to add equipment where needed.
Array’s chief executive, Anthony Carlson, framed the deal as a growth opportunity that bolsters the company’s position among U.S. tower owners.
Array operates roughly 4,400 towers across the country that support deployment of 5G and other wireless services.
The release also notes that, as of September 30, 2025, Telephone and Data Systems, Inc. owned about 82% of Array.
