SkyService, a business aviation retailer, has announced their new status as an authorized dealer of Starlink.

An announcement from the Canadian company last week said the firm is “proud to offer Starlink to all Global aircraft models” as an in-flight connectivity solution for business aircraft.

The news followed FAA Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) approval for Gulfstream 450 and Bombardier Global aircraft models, according to SkyService.

Benjamin Murray, the president and CEO of Skyservice, described the importance of offering Starlink for SkyService. His comments were included in SkyService’s announcement.

“Offering Starlink in-flight connectivity meets our clientele’s expectations and the ever-demanding growth for internet speeds and reliable, uninterrupted connectivity,” Murray said. “We are excited about the future and the opportunities this affiliation brings to enhance our service offerings.”

According to SkyService, a new antenna on the Bombardier Global “ensures seamless 4K streaming access that elevates in-flight entertainment and productivity experience to new heights.”

The company also said Starlink’s low-Earth orbit (LEO) satellite network will be able to deliver connectivity in-flight, even over remote locations.

“At Skyservice, we are committed to growing our avionics offerings and ensuring our customers have access to the latest technology as soon as it becomes available,” Murray stated.
