MADISON, WI — TDS Telecommunications (TDS), a provider of high-speed Internet, phone, and TV entertainment services to customers in more than a hundred rural, suburban, and metropolitan communities, is expanding TDS TV, an Internet Protocol (IP)-based TV service, and new, faster Internet speeds of up to 1 Gbps to customers in Tipton, north of Indianapolis beginning in November.
The Tipton TDS office will open its doors to give customers and interested community members a chance to learn more and ask questions of the technical and sales teams.
At the event, customers can:
- Get a demo of the new TV service
- Talk to the technical team about the installation process
- Sign up for a chance to win a 40†HDTV
- Pre-register for Fiberville
- Talk to the sales team about pricing and promotions
Fiberville is a concept that rewards residents and neighborhoods with special offers and discounts once 15 percent of the neighborhood pre-registers for TDS TV service. When this happens, “Fiberville†status is achieved and each pre-registered household receives free HD for life.
Residents can go to TDSfiber.com to get updates on when TDS TV and 1 Gbps will be available, as well as track their neighborhood’s progress toward Fiberville status.
