It’s a critical time for state broadband offices, and this year’s Broadband Communities Summit offers state broadband leaders the chance to get involved with brainstorming and network building during a crucial moment for the BEAD Program.

As state broadband offices navigate the latest twists and turns, including newly revised guidance on the BEAD Program from NTIA, Summit 2025 this month is aptly timed.

Later this month in Houston, Summit 2025 will offer officials with statewide broadband offices the chance to interact with their peers. And the best part? Tickets are free for public officials.

Also qualifying for free tickets is anyone employed with a federal, local, tribal, or county entity.

Attendees will be able to catch our blockbuster keynote panel on Tuesday morning: “Updates from State Broadband Offices on Progress and Challenges.”

The panel, to be moderated by the former director of BEAD, Evan Feinman, will feature Brian Mitchell, director of the Nevada Broadband Office, and Greg Conte, director of the Texas Broadband Development Office.

Among other things, the panel will address ongoing efforts and challenges faced by state-level broadband initiatives. They’ll also give some BEAD progress updates.

Before and after the panel gets underway, attendees will be able to enjoy a cup of coffee, make professional connections, and discover what’s new in the industry with our valuable networking breaks.

Additionally, over 200 speakers have committed to participate in this year’s event, scheduled for June 23-25 in Houston.

The Summit will explore key themes like business models and funding, objectives and operations, communities, and the multifamily industry.
