As high-speed internet continues to shape how people live, work, and connect, it’s never been more important to recognize the leaders who are putting broadband at the heart of community living. The Broadband Communities Property of the Year Award celebrates multifamily and community properties that have gone above and beyond in integrating broadband connectivity into their development strategies.
Nominations are now open and will be accepted through April 18, 2025. Winners will be honored at the 2025 Broadband Communities Summit, taking place June 23-25, 2025, at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas.
We are requesting your nominations!
All nominees will be eligible to be one of our ‘Featured Communities’ in our online publication of Broadband Communities. If you’re a developer, owner, or property manager with a standout broadband-focused community – or if you know one – you’re encouraged to submit a nomination today. What makes a Property of the Year?
This prestigious award honors properties that treat broadband not as a secondary amenity, but as a core component of their resident experience. Ideal nominees will have demonstrated:
- Proactive investment in broadband infrastructure
- Creative solutions to improve connectivity and digital inclusion
- Unique technology-driven amenities
- A strong commitment to resident satisfaction through digital access
Perhaps the property is one that helped bridge the digital divide in an underserved area, introduced advanced smart-home tech, required creative solutions to bring connectivity to the property, or implemented resident programs to support digital literacy. The goal is to highlight those who are solving real problems, offering innovative services, and creating future-ready communities.

But that’s not all! In addition, Broadband Communities is accepting nominations for a wide range of awards recognizing leadership across the broadband landscape. Award categories include:
