Douglas Fast Net, an ISP based in Roseburg, Oregon, has elected to use Render’s construction management platform to streamline operations as they grow their fiber net in Southern Oregon.
The ISP, also known as DFN, will transition away from paper-based processes with the change, an announcement from Render Networks explained.
As a result, DFN will gain “ real-time visibility into project progress and instantly collect as-built data from the field,” Render’s release said.
Todd Way, the CEO of DFN, commented on the ISP’s decision in Render’s announcement.
According to Way, Render’s platforms were chosen by DFN because of a proven ability to support organizations similar to DFN with efficiently scaling operations.
“As we continue to grow, ensuring the accuracy of our construction operations and scalability of our processes is critical,” Way said. “Render will allow us to deliver reliable fiber connectivity to even more communities across Southern Oregon.”
Meanwhile, Don Wadas, Chief Revenue Officer of Render Networks, added his belief that DFN’s decision to use Render platforms will help them overcome challenges that come with scaling operations in rural areas.
He said DFN’s vision for delivering 100 percent local reliable fiber aligns with the mission Render wishes to support.
“By modernizing their construction management process, DFN will be able to expand faster and more efficiently, providing critical broadband access to more communities.”
