Work has begun on a $7 million project to expand RightFiber services, offered by Ritter Communications, to neighborhoods in Texarkana.

Ritter, which currently serves over 57,000 customers in Arkansas, Texas, Missouri, and Tennessee, announced the news this week.

In the announcement, Ritter said the work will deliver multi-gig speeds to Texarkana neighborhoods with “future-proof connectivity, transforming the community’s digital landscape.”

Heath Simpson, the CEO of Ritter Communications, said the company has served businesses in Texarkana for four years.

According to Simpson, Ritter has provided fiber broadband, telecom, video, and data center services to Texarkana businesses, comments included with Ritter’s announcement stated.

“This RightFiber expansion deepens our commitment to Texarkana,” he said, “connecting residential neighborhoods with advanced fiber internet with speeds up to 5 Gig.”

Ritter’s release said Texarkana residents would be notified when services become available with mailing, and visits from door-to-door team members.

The company also committed to being a good neighbor and highlighted their “Right by You” pledge.

“Any property disturbed by construction will be repaired to its original form before the work concludes,” the Oct. 23 release stated.

The efforts to expand RightFiber’s footprint in Texarkana, and the investment behind the project, are being paralleled in other cities across the mid-South.

Back in September, Ritter announced the beginning of construction on a $6.3 million fiber internet network expansion that will deliver RightFiber services to additional neighborhoods in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

The provider has also been busy with this year with various expansion projects, including efforts in Beebe, Kensett, and Judsonia.
