Yesterday, Ripple Fiber, a leading 100-percent fiber-optic internet provider and network operator, announced its plans for Arizona. Investing over $80 million in the initial build, Ripple Fiber will deliver high-speed fiber internet service to over 50,000 homes and businesses.

Construction will kick off in Oro Valley later this month, followed by neighboring Sahuarita in early June. Additional municipalities will be announced as the project progresses. Ripple Fiber expects to launch service for its first Arizona customers later this summer.

“Arizona is our eleventh state, and it’s one we’ve worked toward with intention. We’ve spent time in Oro Valley and Sahuarita building the relationships that give a project like this the foundation it needs to succeed,” said Greg Wilson, founder and CEO of Ripple Fiber. “Now, we get to deliver on those conversations with a 100-percent fiber-optic network built to power homes and businesses in Pima County well into the future.

With Ripple Fiber, residents will gain access to a strong, dependable network built on symmetrical speeds, enhanced security, and exceptional reliability. Residential packages start at $40, with options scaling up to 8 Gbps to fit every household’s needs. Plans at 1 Gbps and above include the eero Pro 7 router and free internet backup, while multi-gig packages also include a 3-year price lock. Every customer receives a white glove installation for a seamless in-home setup, backed by Ripple Fiber’s 30-Day Service Promise to ensure an exceptional experience from day one.

“Our residents deserve access”

“Ripple Fiber’s arrival in Sahuarita is a direct result of our commitment to bringing modern, future-ready infrastructure to our residents,” added Sahuarita Mayor Thomas Murphy. “Fast, reliable internet has become essential to how families live and how businesses compete, and our residents deserve access to a network built to meet those demands for decades to come. We are eager to see how this expansion in connectivity supports our homes, businesses, and the continued growth of our town.”

Homeowners are now receiving mailed letters and door hangers with direct updates from Ripple Fiber, sharing more information about what to expect during the construction process.
