A fiber-optic expansion project by RightFiber in Jacksonville, Arkansas, backed by a $4 million private investment, will bring a 100 percent fiber optic network to the community by the end of this year.
On Tuesday, RightFiber announced plans to complete the project during this calendar year in an announcement that included comments from Jacksonville Mayor Jeff Elmore.
“We’re grateful for RightFiber’s investment, which provides current and future residents of Jacksonville with quality internet access,” Elmore said. “This expansion supports our city’s ongoing growth and enhances the quality of life for our residents.”
RightFiber, a brand of Ritter Communications, said they’ve also backed up their commitment to Jacksonville with a $10,000 donation to the One City Initiative.
That donation “provided Thanksgiving-style meals to over 500 families last November,” RightFiber’s release stated.
The charitable effort, part of RightFiber’s ‘Right by You‘ initiative, emphasizes community support and engagement, according to RightFiber.
Comments from Ritter Communications CEO Heath Simpson detailed how Ritter has been a trusted partner of Jacksonville’s business community since 2016.
He said Ritter earned that trust “by delivering the most advanced fiber internet service.”
“The way we live and work continues to evolve, and staying connected at home is more important than ever,” Simpson stated.
