Backed by a $13 million investment, Ritter Communications has begun launching fiber services to residents and businesses in Paducah, in Western Kentucky.

Paducah, in McCracken County, has also been a place visited many times by the CEO of RightFiber, Ritter’s brand that offers fiber internet services.

According to RightFiber’s release on Tuesday, the company is committed to enhancing quality of life in the community.

Each experience [in Paducah] has shown me what a truly special community it is, giving us great pride in this launch of services,” RightFiber CEO Heath Simpson said.

The company’s $13 million investment in the area is geared at enhancing service offerings with futureproof technology. That investment, however, is only part of RightFiber’s efforts in the community.

Additionally, RightFiber donated $30,000 to the United Way of Western Kentucky last fall, the company said.

Work will meanwhile continue in Paducah.

RightFiber predicts construction on their area project will be wrapped up by 2026, the company’s announcement explained.

Paducah is located at the confluence of the Ohio and Tennessee rivers. The community has a population shy of 30,000, according to U.S. Census records.
