8/16-port GEPON OLT Cards for the AOCM6000 Platform
PBN announced the extension of interface cards for its AOCM6000 FTTx Switching Platform. Available immediately are the new 8 and 16-port GEPON OLT cards for all size chassis. This extension enables operators to connect up to 8.192 subscribers to a single AOCM6000-CH12 chassis. Besides the ultra-high density it also allows operators to combine ActiveEthernet P2P and GEPON P2MP subscribers on a single chassis managed by PBN’s NMSE/EPSM provisioning software.
The following cards are available now and operate in conjunction with PBN’s newly released PM520 GEPON ONU and NMSE EPSM Management and Provisioning software.
- AOCM-60-8PON-8GE-SFP – Line card, 8 OLT EPON interfaces and 8 Gigabit SFP optical interfaces
- AOCM-60-16PON-8GE-SFP – Line card, 16 OLT EPON interfaces and 8 Gigabit SFP optical interfaces
Triple Play GEPON Fiber Access Gateway for FTTx P2MP Applications
PBN also announced the availability of the PM520 ONU for GEPON applications with Wi-Fi, Router, CATV and VoIP. The PM520 is the successor of PBN’s PM410 series and specially designed for use with the AOCM6000 OLT-Card.
