Local customers of Optimum in Tyler, Texas should expect “enhancements to their internet network and product experiences” following Optimum’s completed network upgrades in the area.
Among the upgrades to Optimum’s network in Tyler, an immediate impact customers should expect to see is the addition of Optimum Stream, the company’s new video streaming platform.
The completed upgrades will also result in “greater internet network capacity, more reliability, and increased speeds of up to a gigabit through a variety of technologies,” according to Optimum’s August 19 announcement.
Sean O’Connell, an SVP with Optimum, said the company’s relationship with Tyler is “incredibly important” to the firm.
“We understand that these services enable our customers and communities to connect to the people, places, and experiences that matter to them most, and we are thrilled to continue bringing them strong and reliable internet, mobile, and video services as we work to make Optimum the connectivity provider of choice in Tyler and across the state of Texas,” O’Connell said.
Optimum’s other recent efforts
Optimum, Altice USA’s fiber internet brand, earlier this month also announced completed network upgrades in Mount Ida, Arkasnas and Clarendon, Texas.
Both network upgrade completions, announced August 13, have provided local customers with access internet speeds of up to 500 Mbps, according to prior announcements from Optimum.
In all communities, Optimum is also debuting their new brand platform and marketing campaign, titled “Where local is big time.”
Optimum described the platform as being centered around “Optimum’s ability to bring customers the reach and connectivity resources of a large national provider with the localized care and support of a small business to cater to the unique connectivity needs of each community it serves.”
According to Optimum, the platform and campaign was introduced to customers across Optimum’s 21-state footprint earlier this year.
Back in April, Optimum explained some of the attributes that the campaign seeks to highlight with comments from David Williams, the brand’s president of consumer services.
“We know how much our communities rely on us to stay connected, so how we show up for them matters to us,” Williams said. “That’s why it is important our brand reflects our customer-first ethos and reinforces our local commitment combined with our ability to deliver world-class connectivity at a great value today and into the future.”
