NMSurf today announced the launch of 1,000 Mbps download and 1,000 Mbps upload (1 Gbps symmetrical) internet service delivered via fixed wireless technology in Budaghers and surrounding areas, expanding access to high-performance broadband for homes and businesses across rural New Mexico. The initial expansion is expected to serve up to 50 locations across the area.
The new offering delivers gigabit-class, symmetrical speeds designed for today’s connectivity needs—supporting remote work, online learning, telehealth, 4K streaming, cloud applications, and demanding business operations—without requiring traditional cable or fiber construction to every address.
“Our mission has always been to bring better broadband to the communities that too often get left behind,” said Albert Catanach, president and CEO of NMSurf. “Launching symmetrical 1-gig service in Budaghers and nearby areas is another step in our commitment to building a stronger, more connected New Mexico.”
Bringing better broadband to New Mexico
NMSurf continues investing in infrastructure to improve service quality and expand coverage across the state. Fixed wireless technology helps deliver high-speed internet faster and more cost-effectively in areas where other options may be limited—helping more New Mexicans access reliable connectivity for work, school, and daily life.
