Residents of a new apartment complex in Grand Rapids will have access to 10Gbps fiber internet thanks to a partnership between a developer, a property management firm, and a Michigan service provider.
The collaboration involves STELLAR Broadband, known for providing services to multi-family dwellings, the Victory Development Group, developers of the Victory on Leonard apartment complex, and KMG Prestige, a property management company.
The $14.6 million Victory on Leonard development will include over 100 apartments on the West Side of Grand Rapids, according to published reports. When it’s completed, the Victory Development Group said the complex will offer “top-notch amenities that cater to the modern lifestyle needs of its residents.”
Thanks to their new partnership with STELLAR Broadband, the Victory on Leonard complex will offer high-speed internet as one of their amenities.
In a release announcing the news, all involved parties called it “a significant milestone in enhancing the West Side of Grand Rapids.”
STELLAR Broadband President Richard Laing said his company is excited to continue their growth in Grand Rapids and Western Michigan.
“Our goal is to empower residents with the tools they need to thrive in today’s connected world,” he said. “We look forward to serving the Victory Development Group, KMG Prestige, and the Victory on Leonard community.”
Residents of the new apartments will be able to use what STELLAR Broadband called “instant-on service” upon moving in. The service provider said residents will have access to a resident portal that will eliminate wait times for services.
A partner at Victory Development, Jeff Royce, said the collaboration is part of a commitment to provide the best-possible living experience to new residents.
“In today’s digitally driven world, fast and reliable internet connectivity is a necessity.”
