AUSTIN, TX – As part of a new branding effort Neo Fiber, which provides planning, engineering and developing strategies for community networks announced it is changing its name to NEO Connect.

“I founded NEO ten years ago with an aspirational goal of helping communities find the means to provide broadband over fiber,” said Diane Kruse, founder and CEO of NEO. “While fiber is no less important today to deliver on the promise of broadband and meet today’s and tomorrow’s goals – it is not the only option. NEO stands for creativity above all else. Creativity to deliver the connectivity that communities need.”

The name change also reflects not only the broadband connections the company is helping to make possible, but also how NEO is connecting:

  • Organizations and entities within communities to aggregate need and share costs
  • Neighboring communities and regions to develop strategies and foster investments that exceed what one community can do on its own
  • Communities with potential partners looking to invest
  • Regions with funding sources

“We’re entrepreneurs as well as experts in developing solutions for broadband connectivity challenges. We take our job to develop a solution to regions’ broadband connectivity seriously. It’s our job finding needs, figuring out a solution, and develop a model that works,” explains Kruse. “That’s why communities across the United States rely on NEO Connect, from Washington State to Florida and right here at home in Colorado.”

With this new identity NEO Connect is launching its new website at http://www.neoconnect.us where visitors will find success stories and resources to leverage their own efforts.
