Advanced security systems, keyless entry via mobile, and IP video surveillance are just some of the amenities a new collaboration hopes to offer residents while setting a new standard for residential technology.

The residential facility, to be known as Newton Place Apartments, is set to be unveiled in the fall of 2024, according to an announcement from Stellar Broadband about their partnership with DTN Management Company, a property management firm.

Included in a suite of services, the partnership between Stellar and DTN will also provide residents at Newton Place Apartments with 10-gigabit fiber Internet and comprehensive Wi-Fi coverage, according to Stellar’s April 30 announcement.

“Newton Place will offer residents modern luxury apartment homes, excellent access to major employers, and state-of-the-art amenities, especially delivering the best the Internet can offer,” said Denise Todd, the marketing director at DTN, according to Stellar’s announcement.

Richard Laing, the president of STELLAR Broadband, said the partnership highlights how his company has become a leader in the multi-dwelling unit (MDU) market over the past two decades.

“Our ongoing collaborations with notable entities like DTN Management highlight our commitment to innovation and excellence in enhancing the resident experience and shaping the future of community living,” he said.

The new residential community, to be located in Haslett, Michigan, will be located minutes away from Lake Lansing, restaurants, and retail shops.

STELLAR Broadband currently operates within nearly 140 Michigan communities, according to a summary of the company’s operations, while DTN operates 115 residential communities and nearly one million square feet of commercial and retail space across Michigan.
