DENVER, CO – Magellan Advisors, a provider of broadband and telecom consulting, announced the appointment of Kyle Hollifield to the position of senior vice president of marketing and business development. Mr. Hollifield, a 30-year telecom and data network veteran, will focus on further development of Magellan’s broadband and telecom consulting division which serves both government organizations and private operators in the areas of broadband planning, implementation and operations.
Previously, Mr. Hollifield served as VP of marketing and business development for BVU Authority, previously known as Bristol Virginia Utilities of Bristol, VA. He has also served as board chairman and member for The Fiber to the Home Council, (FTTH), and is currently vice-chair of Broadband Communities Magazine.
