The company released several photos of their technicians working to restore service in Barnsdall, which was struck by a tornado on the night of Monday, May 6.

The National Weather Service has previously stated that the tornado caused damage consistent with an EF-4 tornado. Wind gusts in EF-4 tornadoes can range between 166 and 200 miles per hour, according to the Enhanced Fujita Scale the weather service uses to categorize tornado strength.

The tornado, which Fox Weather reported as having caused two fatalities, inflicted severe damage to infrastructure in the town.

Kinetic’s brief announcement said the May 15 photos represent the company’s efforts to restoring normalcy in the town.

“This placement marks the onset of a critical restoration effort for this Osage County community of more than 1,000 people,” Kinetic’s May 15 release stated.
