Greenlight Networks has announced a significant expansion of its high-speed fiber infrastructure across Orange County in New York.
According to the company’s announcement, it plans to invest over $24 million in the region over the next year, aiming to connect an additional 16,200 homes in areas including Port Jervis, Middletown, Goshen, and Wallkill.
This move, the company said, is part of Greenlight’s broader strategy to deepen its presence in the Hudson Valley, a region the firm identifies as having strong economic and business growth potential.
The firm claimed that since beginning area construction, in 2023, it has already invested millions, including a recent $4 million project in Port Jervis.
Construction activities are also active in Goshen, Middletown, and Wallkill, with the company emphasizing the enhanced digital experience its fiber network offers—promising faster, more reliable internet with symmetrical speeds up to eight gigabits per second.
Greenlight also highlighted that its pricing model avoids the contracts, taxes, and hidden fees often associated with traditional cable providers.
Greenlight is also extending its network into more distant markets such as Baltimore, Maryland, and Pennsylvania, where multimillion-dollar investments aim to connect tens of thousands of homes and businesses.
