Press Release

At this year’s Broadband Communities Summit 2024, Joe Pellegrini, the president and chief operating officer for Great Plains Communications (GPC) will discuss the key considerations to creating a true technology partnership within communities.

News submitted by: Great Plains Communications

Bringing much needed high-speed broadband connectivity to underserved and unserved communities today often depends upon government funding to build out networks. It is imperative to meet government funding deadlines as well as speed and reliability requirements. Funding is just the first step. Technology and product decisions, construction processes and labor availability, permitting and regulations, and specific community needs and priorities are some important factors that must be addressed to ensure projects are deployed successfully, on time and on budget.

At the Broadband Communities Summit 2024 in Woodlands, Texas, Joe Pellegrini, President and Chief Operating Officer of Great Plains Communications (GPC), a Midwestern digital infrastructure provider with a growing, privately-owned 18,000+ mile fiber network reaching 13 states, will discuss the key considerations to successfully building out a fiber broadband network and creating a true technology partnership within communities.

The Broadband Communities Summit is a leading event for community leaders, property owners, network infrastructure builders and telco service providers to meet and discuss strategies for delivering connectivity for communities across the US.
