MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA – Google Fiber announced the next five neighborhoods chosen for fiber installation as part of its Kansas City 1 Gbps buildout.
Google chose the new “fiberhoods” based on pre-registration numbers. Installation will begin in early 2013.
The neighborhoods are:
- Piper Schools
- Delaware Ridge
- Painted Hills
- Open Door
- Arrowhead
Additionally, Google has extended a few fiberhood boundaries slightly to allow more people access to the network.
