FiberLight is strengthening their commitment to Texas with a decision to relocate their corporate headquarters to the Dallas-Fort Worth area, the fiber-optic network provider has announced.
The company, which has approximately 20,000 route miles of fiber across their multi-state footprint, has a significant portion of their network located in Texas, according to LightFiber’s release.
FiberLight’s new headquarters, in Plano, “places the company at the center of a growing AI and digital innovation hub,” the firm’s release stated.
In comments included with FiberLight’s announcement, the company’s CEO said Texas has always been central to FiberLight’s identity.
“By moving our headquarters to DFW, we’re not just planting a flag—we’re positioning ourselves at the epicenter of AI innovation, infrastructure, and growth,” said Bill Major. “This region is a launchpad for what’s next—not just for FiberLight, but for the businesses and communities we serve.”
Aside from being a hub of AI development, FiberLight said a large portion of their workforce is also located in Texas.
The new headquarters, replacing the company’s previous base in Alpharetta, Georgia, will span over 11,000 square feet and will house approximately 65 employees, according to FiberLight.
“We’re proud to call DFW FiberLight’s new corporate home, but it’s more than just a place of work; for us, it’s our new community,” Major said. “From here, we’ll continue expanding the infrastructure that powers tomorrow’s economy—and we’ll do it by investing in people, partnerships, and possibilities that drive long-term value for Texas and beyond.”
