Two communities along the Susquehanna River in Pennsylvania now have customers connected to FastBridge Fiber’s fiber-to-the-home network.
The ISP, which is also based in Pennsylvania, announced Bloomsburg and the Danville Borough as the two communities where the company’s first local customers have been activated.
According to FastBridge’s release, construction on the network, which is 100 percent fiber optic, remains ongoing in both communities.
New neighborhoods are additionally expected to gain access to FastBridge’s network in the coming months, the ISP’s Jan. 22 announcement stated.
“FastBridge Fiber is committed to bringing these bustling communities located along the Susquehanna River a superior fiber internet experience, helping to meet their growing connectivity needs,” the announcement said.
Services offered by FastBridge include symmetrical speeds of up to two gigabits per second, professional installation, and no hidden contracts, according to FastBridge’s release.
A recent post on FastBridge’s Facebook page thanked the firm’s field operations team for their continued work during the winter months.
“Despite the cold winter weather, they remain dedicated to connecting our customers with fast and reliable fiber internet—all while prioritizing safety and quality,” the company’s account posted. “Thank you for all your hard work!”
