Three new client services teams will support Comcast’s enterprise customers in Central Florida and the Tampa Bay region, according to Comcast.

A collection of 16 health centers will be among the enterprise clients Comcast Business hopes to support with a recent announcement impacting business customers in Central Florida and the Tampa Bay region.

Last week, Comcast Business announced the deployment of three additional client services teams “to support local enterprise customer locations.”

According to Comcast, the new teams will support customers outside of the provider’s traditional footprint.

Secure networking, advanced cybersecurity, and unified communications solutions were included in the suite of technology solutions the client service teams can offer, Comcast’s announcement stated.

ClearwaterLakelandKissimmeeOrlandoSt. Petersburg, and Tampa were included in the communities to be served by the service teams.

Regional Senior Vice President for Comcast Florida Jeff Buzzelli said the new underscores their commitment to empowering business communities.

“We recognize that every business, from local shops to multinational corporations, requires exceptional connectivity and comprehensive cybersecurity solutions,” he said. “We’re here to provide resources and support to enable businesses so they can reach their full potential.”

‘Helping us connect with our patients’

Meanwhile, among enterprise customers in Central Florida recently added to the footprint of Comcast Business is Community Health Centers, with 16 locations in the region.

The facilities, collectively, serve 65,000 patients annually and offer services like dental care, optometry, and behavioral health, including many others.

“Comcast Business now provides robust connectivity services to all 16 facilities providing fast, reliable and secure internet to support their essential operations,” Comcast’s March 26 release stated.

Larry J. Meyers, a spokesman for Community Health Centers, said the arrangement is also “helping us connect with our patients and continue delivering critical services to the people of Central Florida.”

“These tools help us to maintain clear communication, manage our records efficiently, and ensure that vital health information reaches the community we serve, enabling us to provide comprehensive care to thousands of people,” Meyers stated, according to Comcast’s release.
