The launch of Rogers Xfinity Streaming represents the first phase of Comcast’s Entertainment OS launches as Rogers Xfinity in Canada.

The official launch, announced Nov. 7, will eventually deploy all of Comcast’s entertainment and connectivity products to Canadians under the new brand name.

“We’re proud that Rogers is rolling out the Xfinity brand, our network design, and our award-winning products,” Watson said. “Today’s launch marks another important milestone for our global technology platform as we continue to bring Comcast innovation to our syndication partners around the globe.”

Comcast’s announcement explained how the firm’s global technology platform “powers a full portfolio of advanced technology services – including connectivity, entertainment, smart home, and network design.”

The platform utilizes AI, cloud, and voice capabilities to deliver their suite of services, Comcast’s release stated.

Tony Staffieri, the CEO of Rogers, said offered comments with Comcast’s announcement.

“We’re thrilled to bring Comcast’s leading-edge Xfinity suite of products and services to Canadians,” Staffieri said. “Rogers Xfinity will give our customers world-class Internet and entertainment services on Canada’s fastest and most reliable network.”
