Clarion Communications has completed their acquisition of IPitomy Communications, bolstering their portfolio with “significant revenue” from multi-location enterprise and small and medium-sized business customers.
The acquisition’s finality was announced in a recent statement from Clarion Communications, which also provides cloud-based unified communications, in addition to managed service offerings.
“IPitomy is the latest in a long history of acquisitions that Clarion and its predecessor companies have completed,” said Vincent M. Oddo, Clarion’s president, CEO, and director.
Oddo said the additional revenue scale, customer density, and product offerings that come to Clarion with the acquisition “allow us to meet the evolving needs of our customers.”
Similarly, IPitomy offers cloud-based unified communications and managed services.
Following the transaction’s completion, IPitomy will be managed by Joe Haines, who will serve as president and CEO, Clarion’s Oct. 16 release stated.
Oddo said the completion of the acquisition is a significant moment for Clarion. He called it a “major milestone in Clarion’s journey.”
“Together, Clarion and IPitomy are uniquely positioned to provide these services with increased scale and resources,” Oddo stated.
With the announcement, Clarion’s CEO also hinted to additional moves by the company.
He said Clarion intends to pursue additional merger and acquisitions growth in, what he called, a highly fragmented managed service and unified communications industry.
With the acquisition, Clarion now has operation centers in Florida and Georgia and serves as a single-source, unified communications/managed service provider, Clarion’s release stated.
Also included in Clarion’s operations are selling cloud-based voice, video, messaging, and broadband, and other related services, according to a summary of Clarion’s operations.
