Unmet connectivity needs in the Phoenix area have led one ISP named NOVOS FiBER to choose it as their second major market for expansion.

NOVOS FiBER, a customer-focused internet service provider based in Texas, is eyeing the Phoenix market in a big way.
Already in the process of construction, NOVOS this month announced their largest investment into the Phoenix area to date.
The amount of that investment, reported to be $130 million, backs up the company’s belief that “there remains an unmet need” in the Phoenix area.
“We feel that our brand will resonate very much there,” said Andrew Snead, the organization’s CEO.
Snead, who spoke to Broadband Communities last week, said NOVOS has a mission that maintains a commitment to transparency, openness, and a strong focus on customer service.
“When we set up this company, we wanted to build a company that was genuine in its focus on customer service,” he said.
Snead, who also serves as the CEO of PRIME FiBER, said the company’s experience serving customers in the Fort Worth area has been overwhelmingly positive, where the company has served communities like Arlington.
“It’s really heartwarming to receive the feedback,” he added, sharing details about instances where customers have praised NOVOS for the firm’s responsiveness to issues that arise.
‘All households need it’
Further, Snead said recent economic concerns are not holding NOVOS back from continuing to invest.
“High speed internet should be ubiquitous,” he said. “We feel that all households need it.”
He said that while NOVOS views high-speed internet as a utility, he believes it is also a product that can be delivered with great customer service.
NOVOS is described as “the sister arm to PRIME FiBER, a wholesale open-access play currently deploying fiber infrastructure in Florida,” the company’s announcement stated.
Both firms are backed by Sugar Land-based private investment firm InLight Capital, the ISP’s recent release explained.
According to their April 4 announcement, NOVOS is actively planning construction across a number of cities in Phoenix’s growing metro area, which has also played host to a recent boom of data center construction.
