A master-planned community named Sandoval in Cape Coral, Florida has entered into a partnership with Florida-based Blue Stream Fiber.
The partnership, announced today on the ISP’s website, will bring Blue Stream’s gigabit-capable networks to the community’s 1,425 residences.
Bill Ciminelli, the president Sandoval HOA’s board, said the announcement is one that homeowners have long awaited in Sandoval.
“This partnership underscores our commitment to fostering enduring relationships and connectivity for the benefit of our residents, both now and in the years to come,” Ciminelli stated.
According to Ciminelli, Blue Stream was chosen after a “thorough assessment of various providers with the professional help of YFi Advisors.”
“Blue Stream Fiber distinguished itself with its cutting-edge fiber optic technology and unparalleled customer service, provided by a dedicated local team,” he said.
Residents have high hopes for partnership
With the partnership, property values in Sandoval are expected to increase, the announcement stated.
The gated community, located on 524 acres in Cape Coral, “offers a Caribbean-inspired lifestyle with diverse housing options, including condos, villas, and single-family homes,” according to Blue Stream.
The provider said the community has experienced frequent long-term outages caused by a lack of network redundancy and poor customer support from another provider.
“The board assembled a highly skilled committee, engaged a professional consultant in Joe Guertin of YFi Advisors, Inc., and ultimately selected Blue Stream Fiber as their new provider,” Wednesday’s announcement stated. “With fiber-to-the-home technology being deployed not only to residences for an improved in-home experience but also to many of the community’s common areas, residents and guests will enjoy seamless connectivity for streaming, gaming, and remote work—without lag or buffering.”
Residents in Sandoval can expect services to be activated by April 2026, according to Blue Stream.
