Keith Taub has been named as the inaugural chief financial officer (CFO) for Archtop Fiber, a New York state-based internet service provider (ISP).
Archtop names Taub as CFO at a pivotal time, according to Archtop’s Nov. 12 announcement.
The ISP, which serves residents and businesses throughout the Hudson Valley, is accelerating their fiber network expansion. Additionally, Archtop’s announcement said the company is seeking merger and acquisition opportunities to broaden their footprint.
Previously, Taub has held positions at Comcast, Technical Safety Services, Tachus, and Logix Fiber Network, Archtop’s release stated.
Archtop’s ‘aggressive growth plan’
Jeff DeMond, the chairman and CEO of Archtop, called Taub “the kind of visionary leader we need as we charge ahead with our aggressive growth plan.”
“With his extensive experience, ability to drive results, and true passion for our mission, Keith will be a dynamic force in furthering expansion plans across new markets,” DeMond said. “His strategic approach to accelerating financial and operational growth will help us continue redefining what’s possible for our customers and communities.”
Taub said he’s honored to join Archtop during such a time of growth.
“The passion this team has to propel its mission forward and empower communities is nothing short of inspiring,” he said. “Archtop has already accomplished many remarkable achievements along its journey, and I can’t wait to contribute to building upon that success.”
Archtop, based in Kingston, New York, expects to launch services in additional markets this month, including in the Berkshire Mountains of Massachusetts.
Beyond expansions, Archtop also hopes to deliver 5 and 8Gbps internet speeds on newly deployed networks to residential customers by year’s end, a summary of Archtop’s operations stated.
