Aprecomm, an Indian network-intelligence solutions provider founded in 2016, might have a global expansion around the corner, according to Bob Lamb, the firm’s VP of global sales.
Lamb, speaking on the Beyond the Cable podcast at Connected America in Dallas, said Aprecomm is eyeing growth.
“We got our first strategic round of funding last June,” Lamb said. “And with that, we’ve started slowly to get into the global market.”
Currently, the company has seven million subscribers in India, Lamb stated.
He said Aprecomm has a unique approach.
“We put AI into the home to manage the devices in the home, and to make that customer experience the best it can be,” he said.
Then, he said Aprecomm’s methodology takes the metadata collected by AI and puts it into the cloud for operational teams at internet service providers (ISPs).
“We find that scales much better, because it’s a distributed approach,” Lamb told Beyond the Cable.
