ALLO Fiber has announced construction will soon begin this spring on a network build in the city of Boulder, Colorado.

ALLO Fiber, an internet service provider (ISP) based in Nebraska, has announced plans to build a fiber network in Boulder, Colorado.

The ISP announced the development shortly before Christmas and shared that construction is slated to begin in the spring of 2025.

“This fiber connection will enable world-class internet, broadband, cybersecurity, managed services, telephone, and video services for residents and businesses,” ALLO’s release stated.

Once construction is completed, Boulder will become one of more than 50 communities ALLO Fiber serves across NebraskaColoradoArizonaMissouriIowa, and Kansas.

“The opportunity to offer multi-gig, symmetrical speeds to residents, businesses, government, and the education community with consistent network reliability opens the door to immense possibilities for the city,” said Bob Beiersdorf, ALLO’s Colordao GM. “Partnering with the City of Boulder is paramount in providing equitable services to its residents and that spirit of partnership has been exceptional to date.”

Also quoted in ALLO’s Dec. 23 release was Boulder City Manager Nuria Rivera-Vandermyde.

“This partnership will provide significant benefits to our community,” Rivera-Vandermyde said. “From empowering students and small businesses, to supporting remote work and ensuring that no one is left behind in the digital age.”
